Unfortunately, their oils are unflavored, so you might need to get used to the taste which can be quite earthy and bitter. As for their gummies, you can buy them in concentrations of 300 to 3000 mg per bottle.

Some other brands in the CBD industry who also make quality CBD oil but didn’t quite make our list are Nutra CBD Olie , Spruce CBD, Nuleaf Naturals, Charlotte’s Web, Fab CBD, Lazarus Naturals and CBDistillery.

What is CBD oil?

There are a few things to know about CBD oil, which is a phytocannabinoid that is known as cannabidiol. It can be derived from either a cannabis plant or a hemp plant. The chemical is natural and can be extracted and then diluted with a carrier oil like coconut oil or olive oil. Hemp seed oil has enough fatty acids and even active cannabinoids that can positively affect and improve some parts of your nervous system.

Try not to be confused by the association between CBD and marijuana. Marijuana is a psychoactive drug, yet CBD has non-psychoactive effects, so you don’t feel high after consuming it. They do each come from cannabis plants, but they are quite different. CBD is only used medicinally and not in the recreational way that marijuana so frequently is, because CBD doesn’t cause that high feeling.

It’s important to understand that marijuana contains high levels of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), which is the compound that has the psychoactive properties that make you feel “high.” CBD oil, on the other hand, tops out at no more than 0.3% THC, which is not enough to generate the high and why it is legal to sell over the counter. Many high potency products in the market are either THC-free or contain tiny trace amounts.

The hemp extract used in CBD oils contains little to no THC, so you never get the euphoric high that you get when you try marijuana. The biggest difference is that CBD oil can be legal federally, and marijuana is not because of the high feeling it generates.

CBD oil can be used as a health supplement to ease symptoms and health conditions such as anything that causes chronic pain, anxiety, epilepsy, and can even abate some of the side effects of chemotherapy. There are many different forms CBD oil can be infused into like tinctures, capsules, topical creams, gummies, and more.

How does pure CBD oil help with pain relief?

If you live with a lot of pain, you are probably sick of the side effects that come with some of the most popular pharmaceutical pain relievers. For many people, pure CBD is the best cannabidiol product you can take to help with pain.

CBD works by affecting the molecular system in the body known as the endocannabinoid system (ECS). This is where our neurotransmitters and receptors reside that communicate pain signals to the rest of our entire nervous system. The ECS is involved with a lot of processes in the body like cognition, mood, and physiological events.

With pure CBD, you get all of the health benefits of cannabidiol, but don’t have to deal with the side effects that are sometimes caused by other compounds present in hemp, which means you can take CBD even if you are sensitive to THC.

Consider taking full-spectrum CBD oil , such as from Royal CBD and Gold Bee, if you want to get all of the active compounds found in hemp, which would include THC. Did you know that there are also over 100 other cannabinoids in cannabis besides just THC? To get the best benefits of CBD, make sure you find a CBD that is free from heavy metals or other contaminants.

The entourage effect might be responsible for full-spectrum hemp being so effective at helping your pain. This effect states that active compounds that are in hemp plants (like cannabinoids and terpenes) have the best effect on the body when they are consumed at the same time.

What else may CBD help with?

Let’s be clear, if you have a major injury like an ACL tear, you are still going to feel some pain. But, CBD oil will take the edge off and make that pain more bearable. It essentially helps change the way our bodies perceive pain. Consider using CBD as a supplement if you have chronic pain.

Chronic pain can have a variety of causes, but CBD oil can improve your pain if it stems from causes like arthritis, multiple sclerosis, migraines, and even fibromyalgia.

Make sure you take the right type of cannabidiol oil for your ailment. Something like a topical cream is going to help joint pain, but wouldn’t help with anxiety or seizures – for that you would want a tincture.

Checklist for finding the best CBD oil

Where is the hemp sourced? Make sure you know the hemp source of any CBD product you buy since hemp plants take on the chemicals from the soil they’re planted in. You want to make sure to buy organically grown hemp so you are not consuming pesticides or GMOs.

It’s also important to make sure the CBD brand you select has third-party lab tests completed on their products, which will make sure that the cannabis plant has not been contaminated, and you are buying a quality product.

What type of CBD extracts are available? You can expect CBD oil to be available in three different ways. Full-spectrum hemp extract is going to have all of the cannabinoids and terpenes that exist within the cannabis plant, whereas broad-spectrum extract has all of the cannabinoids and terpenes with the exception of TCH, and lastly you can expect CBD isolate to only have pure CBD extract.

What is the overall strength? Make sure you understand the potency of the CBD content before you make your purchase or start dosing. The stronger the oil the better it is going to help your pain, but try not to consume more cannabidiol than you need, since the few negative side effects of CBD are going to be more probable at higher potencies.

Start with lower levels of CBD oil and work your way up, tracking how you feel along the way. Don’t think that you necessarily need stronger CBD oils. Sometimes full-spectrum, low-potency oil can work even more effectively than broad-spectrum high-dose CBD.

Are there third party lab reports? Any good CBD oil company will be transparent about the testing that goes into their products. They usually make lab results readily available so you can see exactly what’s in the products. Don’t buy from a company that doesn’t make this lab testing available to you or you run the risk your CBD oil will contain unwanted contaminants.

Are there flavoured options? Maybe this is low on your priority list, maybe not. Fact is, CBD has a taste. Some people love it, some do not. Some companies have a variety of flavor options to help mask it, so decide on how important it is to you to be able to mask the CBD taste.

If you are not a fan of the taste of hemp, make sure you find a company that sells flavored CBD oils. Look for a flavor like peppermint, which can help mask the CBD taste of organic hemp.

Are the customer reviews positive or negative? This is a new industry. As CBD oil became legal federally, you’re seeing more and more companies crop up. That said, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) doesn’t monitor all CBD products in the United States, so you need to check online for consumer reviews. Without the backing of the FDA, you need to research and learn what people say about their experience with the product you are thinking of buying. It’s important to see if the CBD brand you choose values its customers.

Is there a refund policy? CBD oil is an investment and it doesn’t come cheap, so be on the lookout for companies that will offer your money back if you are not satisfied with the product.

The different types of CBD products

A CBD oil tincture might be the most popular option since it is a quick and easy way to get CBD into your body, as you simply use a dropper to put some oil on your tongue, and you could feel relief from symptoms almost immediately.

The cannabidiol is usually in high concentrations, which allows for rapid absorption of the chemical into your bloodstream. Tinctures make use of MCT oil to carry CBD smoothly into your bloodstream.

Taking a CBD capsule is like taking a pill and has a similar effect as the oil. The difference is your body will absorb the CBD slower. While the relief isn’t as immediate, capsules are still a great option for relieving widespread pain.

If you need to get CBD into your body quickly, a CBD vape cartridge is the way to go. Using an infused vape cartridge can help immediately with something like migraine headache.

Topical CBD creams are a great option for localized, external pain, since you can apply it like you would any lotion. Medical conditions like joint pain arthritis may benefit from topical creams.

If you are looking to CBD to prevent pain before it starts, CBD gummies are the way to go. Usually low in dose they could be just enough to put out a fire that is starting to simmer in your body. Consider adding CBD gummies to your diet like you would take a vitamin.

To conclude, for the best CBD oil to buy in 2021, go with either Royal CBD or Vibes CBD. Will you be joining the millions of CBD users around the world?

What Are The Most Affordable CBD Products? The Cheapest CBD Oils, Gummies, & Soft Gels (That Are Still High Quality)

Today you’re getting a list of the cheapest CBD oils, gummies, and capsules on the market, that are still of high quality.

You can get affordable, high-quality CBD products that will cost you around $1 per day (that’s cheaper than a cup of coffee).

But here’s the problem with 80% of cheap ‘CBD oils’:

They’re low quality.

  • Don’t contain the amount of CBD (and other cannabinoids) as specified on the label;
  • They contain only CBD and no other hemp-derived cannabinoids and terpenes that make CBD up to 4-times more effective;
  • Or they didn’t undergo strict quality control measures like being subjected to multiple 3th-party lab tests that check for contaminants.

This list only contains CBD products that are backed by 3th-party lab tests that show the exact cannabinoid content and cleanliness of the products.

The Cheapest CBD Oils That Are Still of Great Quality

CBD oil or CBD tinctures are the oily extractions of hemp compounds, diluted with a carrier oil like olive oil or MCT oil.

When looking at the amount of CBD you get per $1, CBD oils are generally more affordable than soft gels, but slightly more expensive than gummies. They’re also more expensive than distillates and powders.

Although powders and distillates are more affordable, purely from a perspective of how much CBD you get per dollar…

When we compare the effectiveness of full-spectrum oils and tinctures vs the effectiveness of other types of CBD products…

We find CBD oils (or tinctures) give you the best value for your money of all CBD products.

If 1 mg of a full spectrum CBD is 4-times more effective than 1 mg of isolated CBD found in powders and distillates, it suddenly can become the cheaper option.

Based on various studies and our own experience, the more minor cannabinoids and terpenes a CBD product has, the more effective it is. And out of all CBD products, oils have the best ratios of ‘CBD-to-minor cannabinoids+terpenes’.

The Best Value for Money CBD Oils:

1. R+R Medicinals CBD Oil (Most Affordable Full-Spectrum CBD Oil)

R+R Medicinals is without a doubt our #1 value for money CBD brand.

Whether you’re looking for an affordable CBD oil or affordable CBD gummies…

Everything R+R Medicinals sells scores super-high on ‘value for money’.

If you buy their biggest bottle, which contains 2500mg and costs $96.99…

A single dollar ($1) gets you 28.7 mg of full-spectrum hemp extract.

Out of this 28.7mg, 25.7mg is CBD and 3mg consists of minor cannabinoids and terpenes.

You won’t be able to find a more affordable, high-quality full-spectrum CBD oil.

See, full-spectrum CBD products are often relatively expensive.

For a full-spectrum CBD product, to be truly ‘full-spectrum’, it needs to be produced from a hemp plant that:

  • Has a wide variety of cannabinoids and terpenes, and;
  • Has high concentrations of all these different cannabinoids and terpenes.

These types of hemp plants with favorable genetics for human consumption, are more expensive to obtain and cultivate.

But there’s another reason why these products are relatively more expensive.

Keeping all the volatile cannabinoids and terpenes inside a full-spectrum CBD product means it can’t undergo an as extensive filtering process as other types of CBD products.

This, in turn, means that the soil in which the source plants are cultivated, need to be as clean as it gets.

Hemp is a ‘bio-accumulator’ plant. It absorbs everything from the soil, including harmful heavy metal particles and chemical waste.

If you can’t filter these contaminants out, you need to be sure the soil is clean. Keeping soil clean costs money, money that will lead to higher prices of the end-product.

Despite all these factors that increase the price of full-spectrum CBD products, R+R Medicinals CBD oil is extremely affordable. Their products contain a wide variety of cannabinoids and terpenes in high concentrations.

All of their products are backed by 3th-party lab-test reports that prove that their products are completely clean of contaminants and contain high concentrations of cannabinoids and terpenes.

Want to test the waters?

You’ll be happy to know that you also get a 30-day satisfaction guarantee with all of their products.

2. CBDfx (Most Affordable CBD Vape Oil)

Although not as affordable as R+R Medicinals…

CBDfx products can be qualified as ‘superb value for money’ as well.

Most of their products are full-spectrum products. Besides CBD they contain a variety of other hemp-derived cannabinoids and terpenes.

The best part about CBDfx is that they supply a wide variety of CBD products. Not just edible CBD oils and gummies…

But more niche products like sublingual strips, beauty products like CBD face masks and serums, and topical products like creams and balms, as well.

Their best value for money product is their CBD vape oil.

It’s one of the few CBD vape oils that contain a high concentration of terpenes.

Terpenes are highly beneficial compounds but besides that…

They’re the compounds that give the different hemp and marijuana strains their unique smell and taste.

This means you get an amazing tasting vape oil, based on pure natural hemp-derived ingredients.

Of course, all their products are 3th-party lab-tested and free of contaminants.

And all their products are made from hemp plants organically cultivated in Kentucky hemp farms.

And if you want to test the waters, you’ll be happy to know they provide a full 30-day satisfaction guarantee.

When we look at how much CBD and/or hemp-extract for one single dollar, we see that CBD vape oils are more expensive than tinctures.

However, you have to keep in mind that 1 mg of vaped CBD has a significantly better absorption-rate than 1 mg. of orally ingested CBD.

Plus, it works quicker and usually provides immediate relief. The downside of vaping CBD is that the effects don’t last as long as ingesting it orally.

A single dollar ($1) gets you 8.3 mg of terpene-rich CBD vape oil.

Click the button below to go to the CBDfx website:

3. JoyOrganics (Most Affordable Broad-Spectrum Oil)

Not everyone wants to consume THC.

  • You might be subjected to regular drug tests, or
  • You might be sensitive to THC.

In both cases, it’s best if you avoid THC. And if you want to avoid THC, you have to avoid true full-spectrum CBD products. They always contain at least some THC.

But that doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to avoid all other beneficial hemp-derived cannabinoids and terpenes…

In fact, even if you’re looking for affordable, THC-free CBD products, I highly recommend getting a CBD product that contains additional hemp-derived cannabinoids and terpenes.

And when it comes to affordable, THC-free CBD products, that still have a great cannabinoid- and terpene-profile, despite being THC-free

Joy Organics makes it to the top of the list.

A single dollar ($1) gets you 17.88 mg of THC-free, broad-spectrum hemp-extract.

Out of this 17.88mg, 15.88mg consists of CBD, and 2mg consists of minor cannabinoids and terpenes.

While there are THC-free CBD oils that provide more CBD per dollar, none of them provide as many minor cannabinoids and terpenes per dollar as JoyOrganics.

Their CBD oil has a terpene-percentage of 0.52%. This is much higher than 90% of CBD oils. In fact, it’s the highest concentration of terpenes of all CBD products on this list.

Terpenes are an often-overlooked ingredient when it comes to CBD products.

4. Receptra Naturals Serious Rest (Most Affordable CBD Oil for Sleep)

Rceptra Naturals is one of the best full-spectrum product producers.

Because they make use of cold-ethanol extraction, their products contain a wider variety of hemp-derived cannabinoids and terpenes than any other product.

But the issue with this type of extraction is that it’s expensive.

Well, this Serious Rest tincture is the most affordable tincture that’s specifically formulated for sleep.

A single dollar gets you 15mg of full-spectrum hemp extract.

From this 15mg, 11mg consists of CBD and 4mg of minor cannabinoids and terpenes.

So while a single dollar doesn’t necessarily get you an impressive amount of CBD, it does get you an impressive amount of minor cannabinoids and terpenes.

Also the ratio of CBD:minor cannabinoids+terpenes is much higher than any other affordable oil. While the other affordable oils on the list have a ratio between 10:1 and 7:1 (meaning there’s 10-7 times more CBD than minor cannabinoids and terpenes) …

This tincture has a ratio of 3:1. It’s among the CBD products that have the most balanced cannabinoid- and terpenes-profiles.

In addition to having such a balanced cannabinoid- and terpene-profile, this tincture contains additional sleep-improving compounds:

  • Chamomile, and;
  • Valerian root.

If you’re looking for an affordable oil to improve your sleep, with 100% certainty, I can say:

This tincture will give you the best results based on price. One drop of this tincture is significantly more effective than one drop of other products that look more affordable on paper.

But a paper comparison doesn’t take into account how a tincture like this one, a tincture with such a high ratio of CBD-to-minor cannabinoids+terpenes…

Is many times more effective than a product that with a much lower ratio of CBD-to-minor cannabinoids+terpenes.

5. SOL CBD Advanced Liposomal CBD (Most Affordable Liposomal CBD Oil)

The first-pass effect refers to the metabolization and degradation of compounds like CBD in the gastrointestinal tract and liver before they reach the bloodstream. In the case of CBD, metabolization in the gastrointestinal tract and liver leads to loss of potency.

Recently developed manufacturing techniques have attempted to break CBD down into smaller liposomal lipids. The theory is that the liposomal version of CBD is more bio-available than the regular form.

Scientific Sources

The effect of Pro NanoLipospheres (PNL) formulation containing natural absorption enhancers on the oral bioavailability of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD) in a rat model. European Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, 109, 21–30. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.ejps.2017.07.003

There are various ‘nano-emulsified’ or ‘liposomal’ CBD products on the market.

But there’s only one that has some scientific evidence for its efficacy:

SOL CBD Advanced Liposomal CBD.

This CBD oil is manufactured with CellG8 technology, which is a new patent-pending process for liposomal delivery of hemp-extract.

Scientific Sources
  • 5. Blair, E. (2019). Next Generation of Liposomal Delivery for Cannabidiol From a Hemp Extract: A Safety Study. American Journal of Endocannabinoid Medicine, 1(1), 20–22. Retrieved from https://cellg8.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Safety-Study-Published-2.pdf

This means you would need MUCH less CBD to achieve the same effects with this product. How much exactly is unclear because the study didn’t look at the differences in effects, only in bio-availability.

But IF these study results are true, I estimate that you may need 10x less the amount of liposomal CellG8 CBD to produce the same results as with regular CBD.

Further studies should be done to show whether this is truly the case, but for now, we assume that 100mg of SOL CBD liposomal is equivalent to 1000mg of regular CBD.

This CBD oil will give you the most bang for your buck if we go by this equation.

Because a single bottle of this liposomal CBD costs $90 and contains 300mg of liposomal CellG8 hemp-extract. Buying this product would be similar to buying 3000mg of regular CBD-rich hemp-extract, making this CBD oil the most affordable CBD product.

A single dollar ($1) gets you 3.3 mg of THC-free, broad-spectrum, CellG8 liposomal hemp-extract.

Again, IF we assume that 1mg of this CBD is 10x more effective than regular CBD, it means that $1 gets you the equivalent of 33mg of regular broad-spectrum hemp-extract.

But there’s a catch.

Since there’s only limited scientific evidence that this liposomal CBD product is indeed 10x more effective than a regular CBD product, we have to be a bit reserved.

I’m a bit skeptical and until more scientific evidence is available, I will put this CBD product lower on the list than it may deserve.

A few important points:

  • Keep in mind that CBDfx vape oil contains a lot of added terpenes that’s why the blue bar is so high.
  • Also, keep in mind that Sol-Liposomal CBD could be anywhere between 2 to 10 times more effective than regular CBD, we didn’t incorporate this into the chart.

The Cheapest CBD Gummies That Are Still of Great Quality

Although CBD gummies are usually more expensive than CBD oils, when we look at how much hemp-extract you get per $1…

They are more convenient to take.

Not everyone likes the idea of pulling out a bottle and dropping oil with a big dropper under the tongue.

Using CBD oil tincture isn’t very discreet, so if you’re looking for a convenient or discreet method to use CBD, gummies are one of your best options.

Let’s get to our list of…

Best Value for Money CBD Gummies

R+R Medicinals CBD Gummies (Most Affordable Full-Spectrum Gummies Based on CBD per 1$)

R+R Medicinals gummies are one of the only true full-spectrum CBD gummies on the market.

While most CBD gummies contain only CBD, or CBD plus a few trace amounts of other cannabinoids…

These gummies are infused with the full spectrum of hemp-derived cannabinoids and terpenes.

Besides CBD, these gummies contain the following cannabinoids:

    • THC (< 0.3%);
    • CBC, and;
    • CBG.

    They also contain terpenes like

    • Linalool, and;
    • Limonene.

    For $1 you get 17.5 mg of full-spectrum hemp-extract. Out of this hemp extract, 17mg is CBD and 0.5mg is minor cannabinoids and terpenes.

    Out of all full spectrum gummies on the market, these gummies will give you the most CBD per dollar in mg. Therefore they made it to the top of our list.

    If you want to keep your gummies fully plant-based, you’ll also be happy to know that all ingredients inside these gummies are vegan.

    While these gummies taste amazing, the sugar content is low: 3.5 grams of sugar per gummy.

    A single gummy contains 25mg of full-spectrum hemp-extract…

    Making this one of the most potent CBD gummies you can get.

    Click the button below to go to R+R Medicinals website:

    Rceptra Naturals Gummies (Most Affordable Full-Spectrum Gummies Based on Hemp Extract per $1)

    When it comes to how much CBD you get per dollar, Receptra Naturals gummies are only above average in terms of affordability.

    When you look at how many minor cannabinoids + terpenes you get per dollar, Receptra Naturals Gummies are the cheapest you can get.

    For every 1$, you get at least 4mg of minor cannabinoids and terpenes.

    Also when you look at how much CBD you get per dollar, these gummies are only slightly below R+R Medicinals gummies. For every 1$, you get 16mg CBD.

    That means in terms of how much total full-spectrum hemp extract you get per dollar, these gummies are even more affordable than R+R Medicinals gummies (17.5 mg vs 20mg).

    Receptra Naturals is a highly trustworthy brand. They have been selling CBD products even way before CBD got federally legalized in 2018.

    It’s also one of the only brands that use cold ethanol extraction to produce its products.

    Why does this matter?

    Cold ethanol extraction preserves more hemp-derived compounds than any other extraction method.

    However, it’s an expensive extraction method.

    That’s why it’s so amazing Receptra Naturals has kept their prices so affordable

    CBDfx Gummies (Most Affordable Broad-Spectrum Gummies)

    These are the most affordable THC-free gummies, that at least still have some minor cannabinoids and terpenes in them.

    The amount of minor cannabinoids and terpenes you get is very low, but it’s still better than a CBD isolate product.

    For 1 dollar you get 0.5 mg of minor cannabinoids and terpenes.

    And when you look at how much CBD you get per dollar, these gummies are just as affordable as the cheapest isolate gummies. For 1 dollar you get 30mg of CBD.

    If you wanted to get isolate gummies because they’re so cheap, just get these CBDfx broad-spectrum gummies instead.

    They’re just as cheap, but at least you get a small quantity of additional hemp-derived cannabinoids and terpenes that act synergistically to CBD.

    Add to that that CBDfx is a highly trustworthy brand. You don’t have to worry about

    Click the button below to go to the CBDfx website:

    Joy Organics CBD Gummies (Most Affordable Terpene-Rich, Broad-Spectrum Gummies)

    While true full-spectrum CBD gummies are hard to find…

    True broad-spectrum CBD gummies are probably even harder to find.

    See, most CBD gummies contain nothing else but CBD, or a few trace elements of other cannabinoids at best.

    They’re not truly infused with a full- or broad-spectrum hemp extract.

    Well, when it comes to the best, affordable, broad-spectrum CBD gummies…

    Joy Organics makes it to the top of the list.

    Not because of how much CBD you get per dollar, which is quite low (8.82mg)…

    But because out of all broad-spectrum gummies, these gummies will give you the most minor cannabinoids and terpenes per dollar.

    You get at least 1mg of minor cannabinoids and terpenes per dollar with these gummies. This is the highest amount of all broad-spectrum gummies we’ve ever reviewed.

    Terpenes are an often overlooked ingredient of CBD products, but these compounds are thought to act synergistically to CBD as well.

    In addition to being THC-free, these gummies are:

    • Vegan;
    • Gluten-free, and;
    • Taste great with two different flavor options, green apple and strawberry lemonade.

    JustCBD Gummies (Most Affordable Isolate Gummies)

    As explained earlier in the article, for the best benefits CBD has to offer…

    We highly recommend getting a full-spectrum, or at least a broad-spectrum CBD product.

    All cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids inside the hemp plant have beneficial effects, plus act synergistically to CBD.

    But when we look at how much CBD you get for a single dollar, CBD isolate products are much more affordable.

    JustCBD gummies are an example of high-quality CBD gummies that ONLY contain CBD.

    For $1 you get 30.3 mg of CBD.

    What I like most about these gummies is that you have the option to get sugar-free gummies.

    There are very few CBD gummies that are sugar-free, and if having no sugar is a top priority for you, JustCBD gummies are currently your best option.

    Also, if against all our recommendations, you want CBD gummies that ONLY contain CBD and no other beneficial hemp-derived compounds, these gummies are your best bet.

    The Cheapest CBD Soft Gels and Capsules That Are Still of Great Quality

    Soft gels are another convenient and discreet method of using CBD.

    It’s much easier to pop a few pills than drop oil under your tongue with a dropper.

    Most CBD soft gels and capsules are simply an encapsulated form of CBD oil.

    Usually, they’re a bit less cost-effective than regular CBD oils.

    Some CBD soft gels contain nano-emulsified hemp extract. In theory, nano-emulsified CBD is better absorbed by your body. However, without any scientific evidence, I don’t feel confident to pin any numbers as to how much more potent nano-emulsified CBD is compared to regular CBD.

    Even though there are a few studies that indeed found a particular form of nano-emulsified or liposomal CBD is more readily absorbed by your body compared to regular CBD, as long as I don’t see any studies about the particular form of nano-emulsification of a brand, I’m hesitant to express in numbers how much more potent a particular nano-emulsified CBD product is compared to a regular CBD product.

    That being said, if you’re looking for a discreet and quick way to use CBD, and don’t want to use CBD gummies, soft gels are another quick and discreet way to use CBD.

    Best Value for Money CBD Soft Gels and Capsules

    R+R Medicinals CBD Soft Gels (Most Affordable Full-Spectrum Soft Gels)

    By now you should know:

    If R+R Medicinals has a CBD product in that particular category, you can be sure that it will score highest on value for money.

    These soft gels are without a doubt the best value for money, full-spectrum soft gels.

    $1 gets you 25.5mg of full-spectrum hemp extract. 22mg of it is CBD, and 3.5mg of it consists of minor cannabinoids and terpenes that act synergistically to CBD.

    According to R+R Medicinals, these soft gels contain nano-emulsified full-spectrum hemp-extract and the main difference between their CBD oil and soft gels are that the soft gels have:

    • A slower onset of effects, but;
    • Longer lasting effects.

    If you take CBD oil sublingually, this would theoretically be true.

    Various studies have found that CBD has a slightly quicker onset of effect when taken sublingually compared to when it’s only swallowed.

    However, when you take it sublingually, you also swallow it. This means the difference in effects won’t be that big in practice.

    For me, the biggest difference between CBD oil and soft gels is the convenience of taking soft gels. In my experience, which also has some scientific evidence to back it, CBD taken together with a dietary oil has the best effects, when looking at similar amounts of hemp extract taken.

    Since all CBD oils also contain a carrier oil like MCT oil or olive oil, this is more easily achieved with a regular CBD oil.

    Click the button below to go to the R+R Medicinals website:

    cbdMD Soft Gels (Most Affordable Broad-Spectrum Soft Gels)

    If you don’t want any THC inside your soft gels, you have to avoid soft gels with full-spectrum hemp extract.

    But even if you don’t want any THC, you should still get other hemp-derived compounds with your CBD soft gels.

    Well, when it comes to high-quality and affordable broad-spectrum, or THC-free soft gels…

    cbdMD makes it to the top of the list.

    $1 gets you 18.66mg of broad-spectrum hemp extract.

    From this, 16.66 is CBD, and 2mg consists of minor cannabinoids and terpenes.

    These soft gels come in different dosing versions.

    The highest is dose is 50mg of CBD per soft gel.

    But if you want to experiment with low doses of CBD, you can even get soft gels that only contain 15 mg CBD.

    Click the button below to go to cbdMD’s website:

    NanoCraft CBD Capsules

    NanoCraft CBD capsules are another great affordable option if you’re looking for THC-free CBD capsules.

    NanoCraft prides itself on its patent-pending nano-emulsification technology.

    According to them, their nano-emulsified CBD products are up to five times more bioavailable than oil-based products.

    And their capsules contain 25mg of nano-emulsified, broad-spectrum hemp extract.

    A single bottle of $79.99 contains 30 capsules.

    This means for $1 you get 11.37mg of nano-emulsified, CBD-rich, broad-spectrum hemp extract.

    The CBD per dollar amounts to 9.37mg and the minor cannabinoids and terpenes per amount to 2mg per dollar.

    This is significantly less affordable than the previous two options, purely from a CBD per dollar perspective.

    IF their claim regarding the bioavailability of their nano-emulsified products is true…

    It means you would get the equivalent of 37.5mg regular broad-spectrum hemp extract…

    Making these soft gels the most affordable on the list.

    But unless I see scientific proof of this claim, I can’t accept this claim as fully true.

    That being said, even if the bioavailability was only two times more bioavailable than regular CBD, it’s still a great cost-effective option and deserves a spot on our list.

    How We Rate CBD Products on Quality and Affordability

    To learn exactly how we rate CBD products, please read our CBD products rating system.

    What Type of CBD Product Gets You The Most Value for Your Money?

    If you want to use CBD as cheap as possible, is it better to get CBD oil, gummies, softgels, or distillates and powders?

    To give you this answer we calculated the following for every type of CBD product:

    • How much CBD you get for every dollar, and;
    • How much CBD + minor cannabinoids and terpenes you get for every dollar.

    All CBD product reviewers rate value on how much one mg of CBD costs.

    However, rating CBD products based on how much one mg of CBD costs, only shows you a small part of the picture.

    It’s a big mistake to exclusively rate the value of CBD products based on the price of the CBD. The minor cannabinoids and terpenes are equally important.

    CBD taken together with minor cannabinoids and terpenes is way more potent than CBD taken as an isolated compound.

    Therefore, when you’re comparing prices between CBD products, you want to make sure that you take these minor cannabinoids and terpenes into account.

    Below you can see the chart that shows how much CBD per dollar and how much minor cannabinoids+terpenes every type of product offers:

    On average, CBD gummies give the most CBD per dollar, while CBD oils give the most minor cannabinoids and terpenes per dollar.

    • Average CBD per dollar for oils: 14.28mg
    • Average CBD per dollar for gummies: 16mg
    • Average CBD per dollar for softgels: 13.36mg
    • Average minor cannabinoids+terpenes per dollar for oils: 2.81mg
    • Average minor cannabinoids+terpenes per dollar for gummies: 2.65mg
    • Average minor cannabinoids+terpenes per dollar for softgels: 2.49mg

    Based on our reviewed products, the differences between type of CBD products, on average, are not very significant. There are, however, huge differences between brands.

    How Much CBD Do I Need to Benefit From Its Effects?

    As you can see, there are large differences between products and brands, in the amount of CBD and hemp extract you get for every $1.

    How much CBD or hemp-extract you need to benefit from CBD’s effects is highly dependent on the following factors:

    • Extract type (full-spectrum CBD products are more potent than CBD isolate products);
    • Consumption method (vaping CBD compared to taking it orally, for example, leads to a quick onset of effects, but the effects last shorter);
    • Your purpose for using CBD (if you’re using CBD for pain relief, you may need more than for sleep improvement);
    • Your metabolism of CBD, and;
    • Other physical characteristics like weight and body mass.

    It’s very hard to give general guidelines.

    We dedicated a complete article to everything related to using CBD:

    How Cheap Should You Go With CBD Products

    If you’re purely interested in CBD and not in any other hemp-derived compounds, you can get very cheap CBD isolate products like 99% CBD isolate powders.

    For as little as $8, you can get 1000 milligrams of CBD isolate powder, which is 125mg of CBD for $1.

    This is much cheaper than any CBD oil.

    I still wouldn’t recommend getting this though, because as explained before, various studies indicate that CBD is much more potent taken as part of a full-plant hemp extract, plus it produces fewer side effects this way.

    The most affordable regular CBD oil is the one from R+R Medicinals.

    The most affordable liposomal CBD oil is the one from SOL CBD.

    Why You Have to Be Careful with Cheap CBD Products

    As explained before, hemp is a bio-accumulator plant that absorbs contaminants from its cultivated soil.

    Cultivating hemp plants contaminant- and pesticide-free is simply more expensive. But when it comes to ingestible health products like CBD products, you don’t want to take any health risks.

    NEVER buy CBD products from a questionable source, saving a few dollars is not worth the health risk.

    How to be 100% Sure That Your CBD Products Are Clean

    The first way to make sure that your products are 100% clean of contaminants like heavy metal micro-particles and pesticides, is checking whether the batch under which your specific CBD product is produced is subjected to 3th-party lab tests.

    Once, you’ve found that it is, you need to check for the following tests:

    • Cannabinoid-profile and -content;
    • Terpenoid-profile and -content;
    • Absence/presence of heavy metals;
    • Absence/presence of mycotoxins;
    • Absence/presence of pesticides;
    • Absence/presence of residual solvents.

    Now, once you’ve found all these tests and found that the particular product you’re interested in, is clean, you can be relatively sure that you have a clean product.

    However, if you want extra assurance, I recommend you check/ask where the hemp plants used to produce your product are cultivated and what type of farming principles are being adhered to.

    A question that we always ask before reviewing a CBD brand and you could ask is the following:

    What farming principles are being adhered to? Organic? non-organic? Does the farmer make use of organic/non-organic pesticides?

    15. Best CBG + CBD Oil: CBDistillery

    Bonus: Best Buy In Bulk: Cheef Botanticals

    Considered one of the best natural alternatives to come about in the past 10 years, CBD (also known as cannabidiol) is is loved by the old and young alike. Furthermore, perhaps one of the more impressive things is how ubiquitous CBD has become amongst those who've never even tried traditional cannabis products. However, early research is backing up the word of mouth claims regarding pain, anxiety, depression, and a slew of other symptoms. For this reason, there's a lot to be excited about and look forward to when it comes to CBD. Before we dive into our list, however, we first should go over a few pieces of criteria on how to choose the best CBD oil.

    Choosing The Best CBD Oil

    Well there's no perfect science to choosing the the best CBD oil, there are a few factors you should get hip with used by experts and fans alike:

    1. What type of experience you're looking to have- This will range on if CBD is being used to help you fall asleep or to just relax after work. After you become more familiar with the wide variety of CBD oils, you'll be much better educated on choosing the perfect experience for you.

    2. The extraction method- this includes full spectrum, broad spectrum, and isolate, which all will determine how much processing the CBD has gone through, and what's left from the original plant.

    3. The CBD's Source Hemp- the quality of the CBD will rely heavily on the source of hemp. Obviously, states that have already established legal or medical marijuana are going to have a leg up in production, as well as understand different growth patterns. However, that's not to say other growers haven't been catching up as well. Check the company's website for specific growing locations.

    4. Is there any extra ingredients- this primarily deals with sleep aids such as melatonin, or ingredients aimed to help highlight the cannabis plants' other compounds, such as CBG. This can give off an entourage effect, where the feeling and benefits are heightened.

    5. Lab Results- finally, any company worth taking will have their lab results updated and listed on their website, if not the specific product page. Companies that don't list lab results should be put under a fair amount of scrutiny, especially considering this is something you're putting in your body.

    With a sense of criteria for how we determine quality CBD, let's dive into what some of the best CBD oils and tinctures are for 2021:

    15 Best CBD Oils & Tinctures 2021

    1. Verma Farms

    · Organic and natural ingredients

    · Broad Spectrum CBD

    · Hemp sourced from US suppliers

    · Wide variety of flavor and selection

    Verma Farms has consistently hosted some of the best CBD products on the market for a few years now.

    Becoming popular for their dedication to quality and consistency, Verma Farms has absolutely dominated the conversation for being one of the overall better CBD brands. As their CBD oil was one of their first products, they’ve only improved on the recipe as times gone on. Now as a top choice in the industry, it’s easy to see how much time went into each product.

    One thing we love about Verma Farms is how they’ve divided up their products between more earth-inspired selections as well as fruit-flavored variations as well. Beyond just the approach to taste, Verma also puts a fair amount of dedication into their process. By utilizing a broad spectrum oil, Verma Farms is able to create a happy-medium of a product that any CBD user will love.

    For the best overall experience money can buy in CBD, Verma Farms is an easy pick. No matter if you’re looking for a product that’s great to blend or take on its own, Verma Farms has you covered. Overall, we can’t say enough positive words about them, highlighting a brand that’s grown tremendously over the years and continues to set the bar higher and higher.

    2. Penguin

    · Wide variety of dosages and flavors.

    · Made from organic hemp grown in Oregon.

    · Easy-To-Find lab results.

    · Subscription pricing isn’t as high as competition.

    Penguin has certainly made a name for itself as a premium quality CBD brand. They’ve attracted the attention of everyone from Rolling Stone to Medical News Today, earning a substantial amount of praise for their products. It’s difficult to find a “best CBD oil” list without them on the top, and that’s for good reason.

    What we love about Penguin is how great they are at focusing on creating enough variety with flavors and dosage while keeping prices low. Considering they have an added 20% discount for subscription pricing, Penguin is all about keeping value high with customer costs low. And for how much curation has gone into their products, don’t think they’re skimping on quality.

    Sourcing hemp from Oregon, Penguin has a range of quality that’s unmatched. With a refined broad-spectrum product that’s totally THC-free, Penguin completes the trifecta by also creating a unique assortment of flavors that will satisfy anyone’s taste buds. The sheer amount of effort and detail that Penguin puts in proves them to be a brand that always has your back; and after such a strong performance, it’s easy to make them your go-to (especially for the price).

    Colorado Botanicals has ushered in a new era of transparency in the CBD industry. Recognized as Observer’s #1 CBD company to buy from in 2021, this brand is all about top quality and high standards.

    We love that Colorado Botanicals lets customers behind the curtain to know that they’re getting the best possible product. Many companies use a high heat purification process that burns off terpenes; then they add them back in from other plants, resulting in a diluted product. But Colorado Botanicals uses a pharmaceutical chemical separation process to naturally retain terpenes while removing other unwanted compounds (e.g., THC, waxes, fats, chlorophyll). This matters because terpenes are the source of many CBD health benefits.

    Additionally, Colorado Botanicals sources third-party lab tests for every batch of its broad-spectrum products and posts the results on its website. So, customers aren’t just getting product info – they’re getting scientific proof that the products they’re buying actually have terpenes and other essential compounds. What Exactly Is CBD Anyways?

    for the concept of CBD oil is still confusing to you, then here's a brief breakdown:

    CBD is one of the most prevalent compounds found in the cannabis plant. While most people are familiar with cannabis as being marijuana and thus containing THC (the component that gets you 'high'), CBD is not psychoactive while still containing all of the same health benefits first found in medical marijuana.

    What Type Of CBD Is Produced?

    There are three primary types of CBD to consider:

    Full-Spectrum: This is the least processed, containing the most raw plant materials. It generally contains less than 0.3% THC. Most people cite full spectrum as their favorite since it brings off the 'entourage effect' listed above.

    Broad Spectrum: This is minimally processed, while still containing some slight raw plant materials. Broad spectrum also contains little to no THC, and is a happy medium between full spectrum and isolate.

    Isolate: Finally, isolate is the most processed version, leaving behind only pure CBD. Containing no THC or other plant materials, this is the most straightforward version of CBD.

    Where Do People Feel Like CBD Benefits Them?

    Although still classified by the FDA as a dietary supplement, a lot of people have started using CBD as a replacement for a number of different products. From diet management to over the counter pain medication, CBD is becoming known as a less toxic, more effective replacement. Especially for those who take OTC pain medication daily, CBD is quickly becoming the new norm.

    Outside of physical management, mental health is another big source of new CBD use as well. People who suffer from anxiety claim it can help in nervous situations such as social settings or presentations. Additionally, many find the relaxing components to be alleviating for depression as well. Although the spectrum ranges (and clearly, CBD should not be replacing medications prescribed by a doctor), mild cases and symptoms have shown promising treatment from CBD.

    In summary, here are some of the most popular reasons people take CBD:

    1. Replacing over the counter pain relief.

    2. To help with workout recovery.

    3. To combat seizures.

    4. To help with anxiety or depression.

    5. As a relief after work.

    6. To help with falling asleep.

    7. To alleviate common fears, such as flying or public speaking.

    8. To help with appetite.

    How Much CBD Should I Take?

    While there's no universal dosage, a good rule of thumb is to start slow and work your way up.

    If you'd like a good guide based on weight, volume, and dosage, Daily CBD has a solid calculator here .

    Finally, it's always smart to consult with your doctor over if taking too much CBD might behave badly with your medical history or other medications.

    Does CBD Have Any Side Effects?

    Although the most likely case is you simply fall asleep if you take too much CBD, some people occasionally experience:

    2. Changes in weight

    3. Changes in appetite

    With the potential of negatively behaving with your current medications, it's best to consult with your doctor if there's anything you should know before taking CBD on a regular basis.
