WHEN PURCHASING ANY HEMP CBD OIL PRODUCT FROM ANYWHERE.
IT WILL SAY “FULL SPECTRUM” RIGHT ON THE FRONT OF THE LABEL. IF SAYS ANYTHING ELSE THEN IT IS “NOT” FULL SPECTRUM. IT IS EITHER A CBD I SOLATE OR BROAD SPECTRUM OIL.
2- IS IT ORGANIC OR ORGANICALLY GROWN IN THE USA?
EU AND OTHER COUNTRIES AROUND THE WORLD, DO NOT HAVE THE STRICT AND STRINGENT GROWING PRACTICES AS WE, IN THE USA DO.
3- IS IT EXTRACTED BY DECARBOXYLATION OR CO2 METHOD? NOT CHEMICALS.
METHODS SUCH AS BUTANE AND HEXANE MAY LEAVE UNSAFE RESIDUES THAT COMPROMISE IMMUNE FUNCTION AND IMPEDE HEALING.
4- IS IT 3RD PARTY LABORATORY TESTED IN A LAB CERTIFIED TO TEST CANNABIS AND HEMP, AND ARE THE LAB RESULTS AVAILABLE ON EACH PRODUCT?
EVERY COMPANY SHOULD BE TRANSPARENT.
ANY COMPANY CAN SHOW “ONE” CERTIFIED LAB RESULT FOR THEIR CBD OIL, BUT “EVERY” BOTTLE SHOULD HAVE A BATCH NUMBER. THE LAB RESULTS FOR EACH BATCH SHOULD BE POSTED AND AVAILABLE VIA THEIR WEBSITE OR QR CODE. ITS NOT JUST ABOUT WHAT THE CBD AND THC LEVELS ARE, BUT THE UNIQUE TERPINES IN EACH BOTTLE ARE JUST AS IMPORTANT. TESTING FOR PESTICIDES,MOLD, MILDEW, HEAVY METALS AND OTHER CONTAMINATES IS CRUTAL TO SAFEGUARD OUR HEALTH.
ACCORDING TO A RECENT FDA STUDY, ONLY 2 OF THE 24 CBD PRODUCT FROM 8 COMPANIES ACTUALLY CONTAINED WHAT IT SAID ON THE LABEL! SOME CBD PRODUCTS WERE FOUND TO BE JUST PURE OLIVE OIL.
WITH OUR QUEEN CITY HEMP AND CLEAN REMEDIES PRODUCTS,
THE ANSWER IS “YES” TO ALL OF THOSE QUESTION!!
WHAT EXACTLY IS CBD?
Cannabidiol, or CBD for short, is a non-psychoactive phytocannabinoid. Phytocannabinoids are chemical compounds found in the hemp plant. There are over 80 different phytocannabinoids; cannabidiol is one of them.
The US Department of Health & Human Services has patented (#6630507) a diverse group of plant chemicals, phytocannabinoids, as “neuroprotectants.”
Research shows significant potential for phytocannabinoids to be a valuable contributor to health & wellness. Hemp contains other beneficial phytocannabinoids such as tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) , tetrahydrocannabivarin (THC-V), cannabigerol (CBG), cannabichromene(CBC), and cannabinol(CBN).
The Endocannabinoid System (ECS) is a collection of cell receptors within a mammal’s body. Scientists discovered this system in the 1990s.
Phytocannabinoids work with the mammalian Endocannabinoid System (ECS), which is a vast and vital receptor system essential for maintaining homeostasis, or health. This receptor system exists in the immune system, the central nervous system, and within many organs. The ECS accepts our bodies’ own endocannabinoids as well as the phytocannabinoids found in hemp.
The ECS is designed to repair damaged cells and provide a state of internal stability necessary for survival, despite fluctuations in our external environment.
A human’s endocannabinoid system affects many regions of the body, including functions of the immune system, the central nervous system (including the brain), organs, connective tissue, and glands.
The ECS assists in various biological tasks, including appetite, analgesia, energy & balance, immune function, memory, metabolism, sleep, stress response, thermoregulation, and the function of the autonomic nervous system.
A phytocannabinoid is a compound that fits into a phytocannabinoid receptor. Hemp produces over 80 different cannabinoids that work synergistically with a mammal’s endocannabinoid system.
We at Rain Barrels N’ MORE, offer whole-plant extracts that include a range of beneficial compounds found in hemp, including phytocannabinoids and other photo-compounds (such as terpenes and flavonoids) that work together to heighten health benefits, otherwise known in science as the Entourage Effect.
When our bodies are deficient in endocannabinoids, natural phyto-cannabinoids can be introduced to stimulate activity in the ECS’s major receptors, CB1 and CB2. The effects are systemic and maintain proper balance, allowing for a self-regulated immune response to a variety of ailments.

A bit about Clean Remedies in Rocky River, Ohio –
Clean Remedies is a family owned business that focuses on improving the quality of life through natural hemp products and encouraging a more natural way of health and wellness. Their passion is helping people live a healthier life through the power of nature and without harmful drugs. THEY ARE SEED TO STORE. Meaning that their products are under their control from planting the seeds to packaging for sale.
Many of the CBD products on the market today contain CBD Isolate, not Full Spectrum Hemp Extract. CBD isolate means that CBD is being isolated from the rest of the hemp plant. It is refined to remove any additional cannabinoids, terpenes, and plant components found in the hemp plant. Isolates only contain one type of cannabinoid: CBD. It has been proven that CBD Isolate is not as effective in improving your health.
Clean Remedies uses only Full Spectrum Hemp Extract. In addition to CBD, Full Spectrum Hemp Extract contains multiple cannabinoids, vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, phytonutrients and other materials extracted from the whole hemp plant.
Hemp itself contains over 200 terpenes. Terpenes are organic compounds found in nature and its organisms. Terpenes are responsible for elevated mood, anxiety relief, stress relief, alertness and memory retention. They also have antifungal, anti-bacterial and anti-carcinogenic properties. And can relieve gastrointestinal problems, muscle tension, sleeplessness, pain and inflammation.
Research has proven that Full Spectrum Hemp Extract is MORE effective in treating health ailments than CBD alone.
The only other ingredient you’ll find in Clean Remedies Full Spectrum CBD Hemp Extract is Safflower Oil, and virtually has NO taste. It is very rich in healthy fats, lowers cholesterol, and manages blood sugar, skin quality, and the immune system. It also has a much longer shelf life compared to other oils.
Clean Remedies only uses organic ingredients. Every single product that they produce is free of artificial colors, dyes and flavors, non-GMO and Vegan. No artificial fillers are ever used.
Finally, their agricultural hemp is farm bill compliant and sun grown by Oregon farmers following strict certified organic guidelines. Beyond all state and federal requirements, Clean Remedies uses extensive third party analytical testing for mold, mildew and pesticides. This ensures their Full Spectrum CBD Hemp Extract is of the “cleanest of remedies”.
CBD Hemp Oil (Cannabidoil) is LEGAL in all 50 states.
2018 FARM ACT
The Hemp Farming Act of 2018 was a proposed law to remove hemp (defined as cannabis with less than 0.3% THC) from Schedule I controlled substances and making it an ordinary agricultural commodity. Its provisions were incorporated in the 2018 United States farm bill that became law on December 20, 2018.

Quality & Legality
Our CBD body and skincare products are developed using only clean ingredients: organic essential oils, locally sourced botanicals and high-quality full-spectrum triple tested CBD extracted from organic legal hemp in Colorado by industry professionals in a state-of-the-art facility using a solvent-free CO2 process making it clean enough to be food grade—which makes it safe for sensitive skin. Our manufacturer carries a Quality Seal from the US Hemp Authority.
Products such as ours that are made from hemp [defined by the Health and Safety code as a “fiber or oilseed crop, or both, that is limited to types of the plant Cannabis Sativa containing no more than three-tenths of 1 percent (.3%) tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) contained in the dried flowering tops”] are not regulated in the Medical Marijuana Bill AB1575 as CBD in this form is not considered a Controlled Substance and are therefore legal for resale.
The Ninth Circuit ruled in 2004 that the sale, production and distribution of CBD oils/products derived from raw material Industrial Hemp are not in violation of the Controlled Substances Act (CSA). The Omnibus Appropriations Act of 2016 (P.L. 114-113) (“the Funding Act”) provision at section 763, passed on December 18, 2015, allows CBD products to be shipped across state lines.
In December of 2018, the 2018 Farm Bill is passed by the Senate fully legalizing hemp and CBD “by redefining hemp to include its ‘extracts, cannabinoids and derivatives,’ Congress explicitly has removed popular hemp products — such as hemp-derived cannabidiol (CBD)—from the purview of the CSA. Accordingly, the Drug Enforcement Administration no longer has any possible claim to interfere with the interstate commerce of hemp products.” On December 19th 2018, the 2018 Farm Bill was signed into law making hemp & its extracts legal and removing CBD from the controlled substance list. – Hemp Bill Memo
1. What is CBD?
CBD is one of 100 cannabinoids found in Cannabis Sativa (hemp).
2. Is CBD psychoactive?
When applied topically, CBD will not get you “high” in the way THC does—i.e. there is no euphoric feeling associated with CBD.
3. What is the difference between Cannabis and hemp?
Hemp is the label used for Cannabis Sativa strains that contain .3% or less THC, but Cannabis Sativa is still hemp’s proper latin classification (Genus & Species). Much like Marijuana is referred to as THC containing strains of Cannabis (Genus) Sativa (Species) and Cannabis (Genus) Indica (Species).
4. Is CBD legal?
CBD oil derived from federally approved Industrial Hemp programs is legal via the Agricultural Act of 2014 & 2018 (Farm Bill).
5. Where do you get your CBD?
Our CBD is extracted in California from non-GMO hemp that is expertly grown free of pesticides, herbicides, and chemical fertilizers in a state-of-the-art facility using a solvent-free CO2 process making it clean enough to be food grade—which makes it safe for sensitive skin. We review our CBD batch testing certificates with ever order to ensure purity, and after we formulate our products, we have them individually tested by a certified lab in California to ensure purity, potency and safety. We only use manufacturers who carry the US Hemp Authority quality seal.
6. What does ‘full spectrum’ mean?
There are three types of CBD available on the legal market: Isolate, Broad Spectrum and Full Spectrum. Essentially, full spectrum (no more than .3% THC) and broad spectrum (0% THC) oil is made from the whole plant, isolate is further refined into a crystalline form that isolates the CBD molecule and does not contain terpenes or other cannabinoids. We use Full Spectrum because it contains all of the other cannabinoids and terpenes that occur naturally in the plant.
7. Is your CBD cut with anything like other oils?
No. Our CBD is pure full spectrum hemp oil and then we blend it with organic coconut oil or locally sourced organic olive oil to create the bases for our natural products. We take the same approach to all of our ingredients; pure, potent, clean.
8. Can you get CBD from hemp seed oil?
Not really. CBD is found in the flowers, leaves, and stalks (what grows above ground), while hemp seed oil potentially could only contain roughly 25 parts CBD per million (ppm).
9. Are humans the only animals that have an endocannabinoid system (ECS)?
No! Scientists believe the first animal to have an ECS is the regal Sea Squirt, a 600 million year old creature.
