is cbd oil effective for stage 4 pancreatic cancer

Man Treats Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer Using Cannabis Oil

Hang on to your seats folks this one is impressive. Taken from YouTube (YT) I have included everything that’s relevant medically. However, as is common with YT, some data are missing such as Mr Rose’s age and some other points.

In 2013, Wallace Rose was examined by a doctor for complaints of stomach pain. A CT scan showed a pancreatic tumor. At the time it was small and surgical removal was considered a cure. Like 43 million other Americans he didn’t have insurance to cover the costs. His surgeon demanded a fee of ten thousand dollars and the OR charge was for six thousand. And it had to be cash up front!

After they had a fund raiser which took about six weeks he finally was operated on only to find that in the short period of approximately six weeks the tumor had geometrically expanded and metastasized.

It was now stage IV and incurable. It had spread to the liver, kidneys, and stomach in just six weeks. The surgeon closed the abdomen without being able to do anything for him.

It was December 18th that he received the worst news of his life: go home to die which will happen in about one month. Chemo was offered as a way to prolong his life by six to eight months but it would not cure him.

There was no cure.

With pancreatic cancer which is exceptionally aggressive, doctors can follow tumor markers as an indirect way of judging the extent of tumor involvement. It’s called CA 19-9 (see below left side under lab).

What is the CA 19-9 Radioimmunoassay (RIA) test? What does the CA 19-9 test measure?

The CA 19-9 Radioimmunoassay (RIA) is a simple blood test that measures the level of tumor-associated antigens found in the blood. Antigens are substances that cause the immune system to make a specific immune response. CA 19-9 antigens are foreign substances released by pancreatic tumor cells.

The normal range of CA 19-9 in the blood of a healthy individual is 0-37 U/ml (Units per milliliter).[ref](https://www.pancan.org/section-facing-pancreatic-cancer/learn-about-pan-cancer/diagnosis/ca19-9/) 11/17/2015[/ref]

Above left column under lab shows the CA 19-9 and the patient’s name so we know it’s him.

The first result from September came back at 287 (above) which was high but not terrible. The normal is under 37. Look now at the November value which was 1,406.7, an increase of 500% in two months! One wonders that if the surgeon had been less interested in money and more in doing what doctors are supposed to do, would he have been cured with the simple removal of a very small primary tumor?

The next value really demonstrates the deadly kinetics of pancreatic cancer. Wallace went from 1400 in November to 4,587 by Dec 18 just shy of a month.

SATURATION POINT

The next image shows Wallace had reached a saturation point, that malignant cells were now everywhere in his body. This is a terminal event.

Based on the depressing news Mr Rose decided to invite all of his relatives for one last fling before he leaves planet Earth for good. That included inviting his enlightened relatives in Colorado who left him with a stocking stuffer containing 15 amps of Rick Simpson Oil (RSO)!

BEST MOVE EVER MADE

Out of desperation and convinced that RSO was simply a foolish attempt to promote marijuana by a couple pot heads, he started taking it after he got his license for its use from Dr Kathy Smith. With one month to live he averaged 2-3 grams of RSO per day. Note: the dosing Wallace used is up to three times more (three grams) than what most people take no matter how bad off they are.

But in this case it was incredibly intuitive and I believe the higher dose saved his life.

By Wallace’s own account he started the last few days of December through January, Feb, and March. Note also that he was taking two chemo drugs with the RSO: Abraxane and Gemzar. His doctor admitted that both of these drugs will not cure him. That they would only extend his life by 6-8 months. What we see here is a massive decrease in CA 19-9, going from 5,000 to 312 in about one month. It appears that he is going into remission.

With uninterrupted dosing of RSO at 2-3 grams per day (plus chemo) we see further evidence of a remission (see below).

In one short month his value was now 80 and in free fall. The hand written number of 42 was his last value that I could find which was essentially normal. Stage IV pancreatic cancer is 100 percent fatal yet Wallace beat the odds with cannabis.

Mr Rose commented that he will be taking RSO for the rest of his life. He’ll probably outlive us all. This case provides further evidence of the astonishing properties of cannabis.

How did he take 2-3grams per day. … I take a tiny bit and am out of it.

as a SUPPOSITORY, Marie Bee . I took the oral dose for months but it knocked me out too much. I then began preparing my own suppositories with coconut oïl mixed into the canna oïl, put it into a veggi cap and then inserted as per usual. Result: NO SIDE EFFECTS AT ALL !!

Maureen Ellis! Is your cancer completely gone? Was you at a stage 4? Did you have an appetite? I can’t get my dad to eat. He started 2 weeks ago. He is not up to a gram yet. How many grams fit into 1 veggi cap? Sorry so many questions. We are newbies to this. Any help from anyone on this board would be greatly appreciated.

What is your dad condition now? Is he 100% okay now? Tell us your hemp oil therapy experience. It helps a lot. Because my father also a pancreatic stage 4 patience. Thank you

You build up a tolerance, by gradually increasing dosage on a day by day basis until you reach at least a gram a day, which is what you really need to get dramatic results like this.

And the DEA (Rosenberg) said mmj is a joke. Shame on him. Good luck to you sir.

Is there a way I can personally speak with Mr Rose? Regards, nicole

How can we get in touch with Mr. Rise?

It looks like he is using a Plus CBD syringe of oil – I can see it in the video and it’s exactly the same as the one I use. It’s high CBD and low THC . I get mine at http://www.rooandco.co.uk. It’s called Plus CBD!

Liz, you are WAY WRONG. Rick Simpson Oil is made from high levels of THC from Indica. Rick himself says that the CBD level is not important. Please don’t buy the CBD only crap. Many manufacturers are scamming people with hemp-based CBD Oil. CBD products derived from industrial hemp potentially have several problems:
• Industrial hemp typically contains far less cannabidiol than CBD-rich cannabis strains so a huge amount of industrial hemp is required to extract a small amount of CBD. This raises the risk of contaminants as hemp is a “bio-accumulator”—meaning the plant naturally draws toxins from the soil.

• Hemp-derived CBD and refined CBD powder lack critical medicinal terpenes and secondary cannabinoids found in cannabis oil. These compounds interact with CBD and THC to enhance their medicinal benefits.

Hi interesting story.Unfortunately I have a relative diagnosed with the same deadly cancer! How and where do we get this oil from?

We’re very sorry to hear about your friend’s diagnosis. We find that patients get the best results from growing their own or using locally sourced bud to make medicine (Within Lawful Jurisdictions).

Liz, dear, thank you for your info. It greatly appreciate. Hopefully you are right about it.
I would like to be able to communicate again with you. Our friend was diagnosed with an scare cancer and we are decided to fight back, hopefully with mainly alternatives med.

Hello MAria you can email me if you like [email protected]

Thank you Liz, I did it, txsmariali

Please tell me where we can buy this oil [email protected] thank you

It doesn’t mention what type of cancer Mr. Rose had. Was it neuroendocrine carcinoma, adenocarcinoma, etc.- I was diagnosed with the first. Cannabis oil is illegal in Alabama.

Sure sounds like Adenocarcinoma from the prognosis they gave him. You can take nail dab hits of CBD wax. It doesn’t get you high and also may have positive effects

Thank you, Thaddeus. Cool surname!

Rhonda has your husband tried the Cannabis oil yet and if so, is it working? My father-in-law was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer that has spread to his liver yesterday. We are checking out all the alternatives to chemo as well.. Please let me know how it is going.

My mother was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer stage 4. Chemo makes her so sick. How can we get the oil if not legal in Texas?

My husband has just been diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer it’s stage iv I haven’t been told this by the medical professionals but it has spread dramatically. I’ve seen the CT scan results. My husband doesn’t want to know the prognoses as our daughter is expecting her first child in April 2017. It’s going to be a fight to get him there but he has that fight in him. We’re still waiting to see what treatment he will be getting and I’ve been busy on the internet researching this and High dose vitamin C complimentary therapy alongside chemo so that I have the knowledge to fight for the best treatment for the best outcome. I think we need a miracle but they happen. This story is what we need and I’ll push all the way to get it. We’re in the UK. It’s after 11pm and I’m going to bed and I’m sure I’ll ssleep better just because I’ve read this tonight. It gives me hope.

I’m in the UK and just heard of cannabis oil my husband had stage4 pancreatic cancer which has spread to his liver. I am now looking into getting this oil but don’t know where to start

You need to find/contact a cannabis user if possible. most people get it through a friend of a friend as it’s illegal in the UK. You might want to look at http://www.cbdoilsuk.com this may help.

Hello folks from the UK. making the oil is not difficult and getting hold of the cannabis is easy given that we live near to holland. It just takes a bit of organizing and, unfortunately money (if someone is offering to sell you it, you’re probably about to get ripped off). For making it, See run from the cure for details (buy rice cooker , 99% isopropyl alcohol, coffee filters, coffee mug warmer (all available from amazon). . Drive on a ferry, turn left at calais. In 3 hours you’ll be in holland. buy the weed (strong indicas are best (‘northern lights’ etc)(a single person can buy 5g at a time from each coffee shop – if a few of you go you could get enough in one hit in a day) – make it there (or elsewhere) and mail it back. You’d need to ensure its undetectable by sniffer dogs (which is easy for small amounts). – (Hint, the oil is oil (obviously) and water will completely block all smells) then post it back to yourself from abroad (best to not do it from holland and certainly not amsterdam) – you’ll probably need to rent somewhere with a garden to make it safely (iso is extremely flammable. Do outside (do NOT make inside) follow all precautions – but dont be put off, its easy.. just be sensible.
Good Luck Folks !

How can we get this oil in Sydney

Hey guys. My father in law was just diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and we would like to try RSO to try and heal him. But we don’t know where to start. What type of marijuana do we need to buy? Should we get CBD oil? And if so, what kind? And how do we make the Rick Simpson Oil? We’re located in Utah. Any feedback would be incredible. Thank you.

My father-in-law has stage for pancreatic cancer and we started him on the Simpson oil he was doing chemotherapy but he decided to stop because it was making him sick I would like to know what type of vitamins should he be taken and what type of diet
He don’t really have a big appetite and I know he has to eat but I would like to know the type of food as well as all vitamins that he should be taking ( I ask you please if you can help me I would highly appreciate it

My dad has just been diagnosed today with adenocarcinoma stage 3 and not treatable with surgery.. we are in the UK is there anything I can do to get this for him please?

Hello all, to get the real stuff you just need someone good on computers, get on the Tor browser to access the dark net. Get onto the dream market and buy the oil in the UK with bitcoin. Bitcoin you can buy with debit cards on coinbase. Process isn’t hard

Hi everyone just my 2 cents .. I was diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer in May. I have been thru 5 cycles of FOLFIRINOX chemo (10 weeks total) but also started ramping myself up with high-THC cannabis oil (‘Rick Simpson Oil’ or RSO) about the same time. It took about a month to build up a tolerance to the buzz but I am now up to 1.5g per day and I can be reasonably functional.

After 10 weeks the CT scan showed that the tumors were ‘holding steady’ but we don’t know if the chemo or the cannabis oil is working or if they are complementary. So I am going off the chemo for a couple of months and just going to take as much RSO as I can to see what happens. I understand this is a risk, but when the oncologist says you have a year to live, your definition of ‘risk’ may change.

This is where we are today. More to come.

Hello everyone, My father was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer 4 months ago which had metastasized to the liver. He is inoperable and incurable. He had 9 rounds of folfirinox chemo and the ct scan after the chemo showed that the cancer spread to the lungs also. The doctor stopped all chemotherapy and sent dad home with a couple of months to live. We are desperately looking for alternative treatments. Currently he is eating apricot kernels and cur-cumin tablets everyday. Please share if you have used cannabis oil and if you are getting better or not. Also, please share where I can locate cannabis oil for my dad?

Amazing information, my grandma had simillar health problems, stage 3 pancreatic cancer was cured with cannabis oil, she is now very healthy and competes in senior marathons down here in Dublin, thanks for a great read.

This is to CBDDublin lad. Can I ask you what the strength of the THC was ? 20? More?

Great story. It would be good to know what kind of RSO he is taking, 20 THC to 1 CBD? 3 to 1? 2 to 2? Knowing this ratio can help others.

Is cannabis oil legal in ireland

Maureen Ellis! I would love if you could message me ASAP. My husband has been diagnosed with this and Id like to know what you did to cure yours. Please message me back!

Is wallace rose still alive in 2018? my brother is stage 4 pancreatic cancer which cannot be operated on, he has had two rounds of Folfirnox and scheduled for another on 20 feb 2018, he is very very weak now as the cancer was diagnosed back in November 2017,

he has been taking cannabis oil since November 2017 we purchased on the black market here in the UK

I have uterine Carcinosarcoma that has spread to my liver and spleen stage four. What would you recommend to try.

I was diagnosed with Stage 3 inoperable pancreatic cancer last June. The doctors gave me no real hope for survival. Recovery was not (and still is not) even a goal they set for me. I researched the alternative options and decided that cannabis oil was my best option. I was fortunate to have friends who could get the cannabis buds for me, and I made my own Rick Simpson oil based on instructions on the Internet. After I ran out of the RSO, I was fortunate to find a California doctor who treats out of state patients and he prescribed a “quad” combination of THC, CBD, THC-acid, and CBD-acid. I have been taking that since December. I received chemotherapy in July-August and radiation therapy in October-November last year. The doctors only expected that treatment to prolong my life by several months. However, my tumor markers fell every month from July to December 2017 and have remained level in the low normal range since that time. Moreover, the PET scan taken in February 2018 shows only minor activity in the tumor, which may just be inflammation from the radiation treatment. I expect my next PET scan in the next few months to show that the tumor is dead. My doctors are more surprised than anybody. I took a lot of different supplements, but I firmly believe the cannabis oil is what has saved my life. Eighty percent of people in my condition die within a year even with chemotherapy and radiation. I am different because I took the cannabis oil. If you have a relative or friend diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, I strongly recommend that they get their hands on either Rick Simpson oil or get a prescribed cannabis oil from a doctor in a legal state as soon as possible. They can still get conventional treatment and their doctors don’t have to know (mine didn’t). There is no downside to cannabis oil, other than the cost and it will make you very sleepy in high doses. Of course, sleep is generally good for cancer patients.

Great great article and news about Wallace. My dad has just started taking CBD oil for multiple myeloma, he is already feeling better and gets his results next month for stats. We hope for a miracle like Wallace and many others have experienced. Read more about my dad and his myeloma timeline here: https://www.cbdoil.bio/information/cbd-oil-vs-multiple-myeloma-cancer/

That is an amazing story. My grandad is about to start using cannabis oil for the same symptoms, hope it works out. CBD helped him a small bit but cannabis oil should be much better.

Cannabis Kills Pancreatic Cancer Cells in the Lab

How does cannabis fare in the fight with stage 4 pancreatic cancer?

Cannabinoids are now being studied closely for their potential impact in the battle against multiple forms of cancer, including stage 4 pancreatic cancer. As research has progressed, cannabis has shown enormous potential in easing the side effects of chemotherapy cancer treatments. Some studies also lead researchers to hypothesize that cannabis treatments could even affect the progress of the disease.

Thanks to new understanding of the endocannabinoid system, scientists are discovering how receptors in this system interact with cannabinoids. The results suggest activating of these receptors can result in cancer cell death and slowed tumor growth. Cannabis can also help manage cancer-related pain, and ease nausea.

Cannabinoids and Cancer Treatment

Research has shown that cannabis can also help with side effects resulting from cancer-related treatments – like chemotherapy. A study published in the British Medical Journal (2001) found that patients preferred cannabis for relieving nausea and vomiting. They also found it to be more effective than other antiemetic pharmaceutical medications. [1] Tramèr, M R, et al. “Cannabinoids for Control of Chemotherapy Induced Nausea and Vomiting: Quantitative Systematic Review.” BMJ (Clinical Research Ed.), BMJ, 7 July 2001, … Continue reading

Cannabis has also shown usefulness in treating cancer-related pain, including when administered along with prescribed opioids. A 2018 study published in Current Oncology shows that forty-three percent of patients surveyed consumed cannabis as part of their treatment. And nearly half of that population turned to cannabis to help with pain from cancer. [2] Martell, K, et al. “Rates of Cannabis Use in Patients with Cancer.” Current Oncology (Toronto, Ont.), Multimed Inc., June 2018, www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6023560/.

Cannabis And Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer

A recent review published in the Journal of Pancreatic Cancer (2019) outlined the ways in which cannabinoids could potentially be employed to fight pancreatic cancer at the cellular level. Researchers found that in vitro studies consistently showed cannabinoids tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD) could have antiproliferative and proapoptic effects. What does that mean? It suggests that cannabis could help promote cancer cell death, preventing further proliferation, and thereby inhibiting the growth of tumors. However, studies have also shown that these kinds of results are not the same for all types of cancer.

But this is good news for patients suffering from one of the deadliest cancers — pancreatic cancer. The (early) research so far shows that cannabis could potentially help slow the progression of this devastating disease.

Pancreatic cancer is the fourth deadliest cancer, and about 47,000 Americans are expected to die from it this year. An estimated 57,000 will be diagnosed. Pancreatic cancer has a starkly low survival rate, making discoveries toward effective treatment all the more necessary.

The pancreas is part of the digestive and endocrine systems, and this important gland manufactures and secretes insulin. It plays an integral role in the human body’s regulation of sleep, appetite, metabolism, and growth. When cancer forms in the pancreas, abnormal cells grow until they form a tumor. This tumor deprives healthy cells from functioning normally and prevents the pancreas from operating as it should

Potential For Cannabis in Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer Treatment

A study published in the International Journal of Cancer (2008) illustrated how activation of cannabinoid receptors could induce the death of pancreatic cancer cells. By activating the endocannabinoid system’s CB2 receptor, cannabis can trigger cancer cell apoptosis — in effect stimulating abnormal cells to die. This prevents further proliferation of cancer cells throughout the body, and helps limit the growth of tumors. The authors also found evidence in their data to support cannabinoids as treatment for pancreatic cancer pain. [4] Michalski, Christoph W, et al. “Cannabinoids in Pancreatic Cancer: Correlation with Survival and Pain.” International Journal of Cancer, U.S. National Library of Medicine, 15 Feb. 2008, … Continue reading

Another study published in the American Association for Cancer Research (2006) treated a large pancreatic tumor with THC. Researchers observed that the cannabinoid induced cancer cell apoptosis and inhibited the spread of pancreatic cancer cells. But THC isn’t the only cannabinoid that may be effective in fighting pancreatic cancer. A study published in Oncogene (2018) discovered that inhibiting a G protein-coupled receptor called GPR55 can reduce pancreatic cancer cell growth in vivo. By using CBD to inhibit this receptor in mice, scientists were able to significantly prolong their survival. And when combining CBD with the chemotherapy pharmaceutical gemcitabine, the mice survived three times longer than with gemcitabine alone. Flavonoids and Cancer

Studies have also shown that cannabis can be effective in fighting pancreatic cancer, and not just through cannabinoids. A 2019 study in Frontiers in Oncology found that a certain flavonoid derivative from the cannabis plant could enhance pancreatic cancer radiotherapy in vitro and in vivo. This synthetic, non-toxic flavonoid is called FBL-03G. It significantly enhanced cancer cell death in combination with radiation. What This Means for Pancreatic Cancer Patients

These potential anti-cancer discoveries offer exciting news for patients suffering from this hard-to-treat disease. With a survival rate of about five years among an extremely low eight percent, any treatment that can make a dent is an impactful one. We’re now seeing through numerous studies that cannabis may offer patients the potential to live a longer life after diagnosis.

While these studies are all preliminary, they pave the way for further research into cannabis as a potential anti-cancer therapy. The next step is duplicating these findings in human studies – as soon as possible. This is because with pancreatic cancer, patients don’t have time to wait.
